We’re Hiring: Venue Tour & Booking Host 

SALES ROLE

The Design Barn is looking for a motivated, fun and outgoing person who loves connecting with people and sharing what makes our venue special!

This sales-focused role will:

• Respond to inquiries from prospective clients
• Schedule and lead venue tours
• Help guests visualize their event at the Design Barn
• Follow up with prospective clients and secure bookings
• Build relationships with corporations, community organizations and event professionals
• Represent the Design Barn at bridal shows and promotional events
• Develop outreach opportunities that generate interest, tours and new bookings

You’ll connect with people hosting weddings, corporate gatherings, proms, bridal and baby showers, celebrations of life, fundraisers and other unique events.

This is not an event-planning position. Once an event is booked, the client will transition to one of our event-planning specialists.

This role offers a flexible, self-directed schedule. You will have control over when tours are offered and will create your own schedule for the most part. However, you must be willing to accommodate prospective clients when they are available, including some evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate is personable, confident, organized, responsive and sales-minded—with the energy and enthusiasm to turn interest into tours and tours into bookings!
